Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is situated in a very beautiful area - an ideal spot to visit Lake District. The rooms offer a view over a vegetable patch and are cozy, although the floors were a bit creaky. The service was exceptional with staff who went out of their way to give excellent service. However, the dining experience was poor, with rotten fruit served, and the waitress not being very helpful. The location, despite being in a quiet area, was marred by it being in a strange pub. Nonetheless, the value for money was reasonable given the setting.
The hotel is situated in the lovely area close to Carlisle, offering a fabulous room with a huge bed and jacuzzi bath. The service was exceptional, going out of their way to provide excellent care. The location, in a fire-warmed pub with an incredible atmosphere, was truly delightful. Unfortunately, the dining experience was poor, with rotten fruit served and a lack of interest from the waitress, leaving a lasting negative impression.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful area and offers delicious food in the restaurant at night. The rooms overlook a vegetable patch with full bathrooms, but the floors are quite creaky. Service was exceptional with staff going out of their way to provide excellent service.
